COLD MARKET ONLINE: THE HONEST VERSION

Cold is anyone who does not know you. Recruiting strangers online works for a few people and eats the months and the money of most, because trust starts at zero and you pay for every minute of attention. Earn it by working the warm list first, then do it the same way: one named person, a real reason to write, a date, and follow-up forever.

Ask this online and you get a platform ranking and a posting schedule. Here is the version from a distributor's chair.

WHAT COLD MEANS

Cold is a stranger. That is the whole definition.

Warm is anyone who knows you in any way — the man who cut your hair for six years, the woman you sat beside in a class.

Referrals are warm too. The person who handed over the name vouched for you first, and that is most of the way home.

There is no third temperature. Invent one and you will file people into it so you never have to call them.

WHY IT EATS PEOPLE

Cold market online works for a few people. It eats the months and the money of most.

Trust starts at zero. A warm contact already knows whether you are straight with people. A stranger knows nothing, so first you have to become somebody worth answering. That takes real time.

You pay for every minute of attention. Warm attention is free — they open the message because they know you. Cold attention gets bought, with ad money or hours of posting, and the meter never stops.

Silence teaches you nothing. A not-now from somebody who knows you tells you something true. Silence from a stranger tells you nothing — the message, the timing, or a bad morning, and you cannot tell which.

The four enemies hit harder out here. Rejection arrives in volume from people who owe you nothing, and distraction is one tab away.

WHEN YOU HAVE EARNED IT

Go cold after you have earned the right. That is a checklist, not a feeling.

All four true? Go. Any one false and you are out of follow-up, not out of people. Start at my warm market is exhausted, then put a date on every name.

IF YOU DO IT, DO IT LIKE THIS

StepWhat you doWhat you never do
1. Be findableOne place where a stranger learns who you are in a minute.Hide behind a stock photo and a bio that says join my team.
2. Pick one personRead what they wrote. Find the one thing you can speak to.Work a list with the same message.
3. Write the first messageName that one thing and ask a question about it.Mention the opportunity. Not the first message, not the second.
4. Move it privateA private channel, then the phone.Build a business in a comment section.
5. Put a date on itEvery not-now joins the same monthly list as everyone else.Follow up when you feel like it, or file them dead.

A stranger who answers is not cold anymore. They go on the list and they stay.

WHAT THE NUMBERS LOOK LIKE

I am not handing you a figure. Anybody who does is making it up.

It takes more noes to get to a yes out here than it does at home. You kiss a lot more frogs.

Take it the way an airline attendant does. They ask row after row, and after a string of noes they do not jump out of the plane. A no means not now.

Then measure your own ratio and improve it.

WHAT THE MACHINE CARRIES

Split the work honestly. Remembering and timing are machine work, and people are bad at both at volume. The rest is why anybody joins you.

It carries the first touch and every touch after it, on a schedule, one named person at a time. It remembers what they said and what you promised. It stops the second they answer, hands you the reply, and shows you every message it sent. It does not blast.

You take the reply and you take the call. The reply is the product. It runs on the five-element base I write about in flavored agents — memory, reach, secrets, authorization, auditability.

WHERE TIGER CLAW FITS

Tiger Claw is what I build for this: autonomous AI follow-up agents for network marketers. It works whatever list you give it the same way — one at a time, on a date, forever. It goes first, instead of waiting on you. Working, at tigerclaw.io.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I recruit for network marketing in the cold market online?
Be findable first — one place a stranger can learn who you are in a minute. Then write to one person about one thing they actually said, and ask a question. Never the opportunity in the first message. Then a private channel, then the phone, then a date.
Should I recruit warm market or cold market first?
Warm first, always. Warm attention is free and cold attention is bought. Go cold when every warm name has a next-touch date and the not-nows are on a monthly touch. Until then you are out of follow-up, not out of people.
Is it OK to message strangers about my network marketing business?
It is OK to message a stranger. It is not OK to send them something you could have sent to a hundred people. If it could only have been written to them, it is a real message. Otherwise it is a blast.
How do I start a conversation with a cold prospect online?
Read what they wrote, name the one thing you can speak to, and ask a question about it. That is the whole first message. No opportunity, no link, no pitch. You are starting a conversation, not closing one.
What do I do with cold prospects who say not now?
The same thing you do with everyone else who says it: put a date on them and touch them monthly, forever. A not-now is a date nobody wrote down. They said it because of the month they are in, and months end.
